EOI CERTIFICATES 2010-2011

The importance of getting qualifications in English is one of the main targets in our department. The EOI certificates are not widely known by students and we encourage them to take part in this type of tests which are officially recognized by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Congratulations to all the students of 4 ESO and 2 BTX who have successfully passed both the EOI Intermediate  and Advanced level this course.!!! Some of them had to go as far as Girona or Lleida to take the tests.

PLA EXPERIMENTAL PER A L'APRENENTATGE DE LLENGÜES ESTRANGERES
2010-2013

El nostre projecte consisteix en un estudi comparatiu entre l’estil de vida dels adolescents del nostre centre i el d’altres adolescents d’un altre país, essent la llengua vehicular l’anglès. Els temes que tractarem aniran en progressió, partint del seu entorn més proper (my world, getting to know i gateway to Europe ) fins arribar a aspectes relacionats amb la cultura i societat d’ambdós països.
Per tal de desenvolupar la competència oral dins d’aquest projecte, el alumnes han d’utilitzar les eines que els ofereixen les noves tecnologies tant per a la recerca d’informació com per a la comunicació i la posterior producció i edició del seu projecte: webs de diferents centres, google o similar, audacity, moodle, podcast, etc. Tot això donarà  pas a l’elaboració d’un document audiovisual on els alumnes mostrin la realitat del seu entorn més proper tenint en compte els aspectes socio-culturals més relevants.
Es plantegen unes línies d’actuació a 2n, 3r i 4t d’ESO a partir d’uns blocs temàtics proposats per nivells. Els alumnes realitzaran amb l’ajut de mitjans audiovisuals reportatges en diferents formats (vídeo, blogs...) on mostrin el seu entorn.


Our project consists in comparing the way our students and others from a foreign country live and using English as the language to communicate. They will deal with topics from their daily lives to a more general view of their culture and society. In order to practise oral skills, ICT resources will be used including blogs, recordings, podcasts, internet... As a result the students will have to create a multimedia document to show their lifestyles and some relevant cultural issues. The classes involved are 2nd, 3rd and 4th ESO (one level each year).The project will last three years. Throughout this time, students will do projects using different techniques in order to report their environment.
