Congrats to an artist!
Eduard Taberner, who was in 2nd year Batxillerat last course, has been the winner of the animation contest DKV Fresh Art with his animated work called Mente.

1st SPEECH CONTEST AWARDS
On 27th June the five finalists of the contest had to make a speech in front of the jury. They did their best and it was really hard for the members of the jury to give the final verdict as they all deserved the prize. There was a wide variety of ideas dealing with the topic Visit London in three days from planning a low cost trip to visiting the strangest places in London.
It's been our first expererience in organizing a contest of this kind and it's worth doing it again in the coming school year since the students have been really motivated to show their speaking skills.
Congratulations to all costestants and thanks for taking part in the PELE project.

ONLINE NEWSPAPERS - 3 ESO
For the last few years the English Department has been offering the elective subject OPTATIVA ANGLÈS SEGONA LLENGUA for those students who study French as a first foreign language throughout ESO.
In 3rd year ESO, students have had this elective just for a term (from February to June), two hours a week. From now on this subject will become a full-length elective (from September to June), two hours a week. As its length has been doubled, we'll be able to practise the four basic skills of English not only by publishing an online newspaper among other activities, but also focusing on grammar and vocabulary with the support of a textbook ranging from level B1 to level B2.
